SWEET OBLIVION - by Asia

empty promises fill her head
lust tongues cradle the thoughts
eyes reveal the love
but lies conquers the mind

the truth deceives what is
laying close to happiness
oblivion from everyone
as two come together as one

on awakening of my senses
the smell of roses fills the room
the site of a shadow unknowing
life or death questions my mind

dreams can fool my reality
freedom is my prisoner
solitude killed my spirit
alone again i stand

Now that solitude has done her work,
now that the spirit she has killed is buried and gone
there is now room for a new and different spirit and song,
the breath of new life, new aroma, the song of the spirit killed for being such a solitary loner, is not missed,
there is new life to be caressed and kissed, the old solitary spirit will never be missed, why should it stand, when there is new life and love to command, the lustful tonges of candlelight flickering, take place in her shattered=mind, and everything that was reality"s dream was so unkind, there was no hope for that solitary spirit,no hope whatsoever, it was great to see it slip thru the trapdoor into oblivion merely by the flick of a lever,
ilovethe new spirit,it fills me with greatness and amusment, thanks for its eternity, it is such an affable spirit i love you for your sincerity, your purity, and strength, i am glad you will always be here,
