I was there to. Struggling with this nasty addiction and the only thing that got me through it was the love of my girlfriend. If you have someone close to you like that explain to them what you are about to go through if you do decide to quit cause believe me when i say that you will become unbearable throughout the whole process. The pain associated with the withdrawl is no joke but dont let this scare you in any way. That special persons love will help you through it trust me. And when you do finally get clean you not only will feel like a million buck but appreciate that person and life a whole lot more. Stay strong.

i know exactly what your going through, the withdrawls are like the flu from hell, one thing i have learned the hard way is to break the addiction you have to break all the other habits that go along with the addiction, that means when whoever has them comes rolling around you gotta break contact, youd be surprised how different you think after 4 weeks without them, treatment clinics are all over the place these days, look in your phone book or google suboxone therapy there are a few sights that will help you find doctors willing to treat addiction. you just gotta tell your body no,and when it gets bad just keep saying no,trust me im in the exact same boat,i know what its like but the withdraw pains are just the pains of changing your life for the better. stay strong!

im writing to hope that you finally got your addiction under control,im also writing this after 3 weeks of cold turkey after using for 5 years,i can tell you this, its not easy, but its not as bad as you might think, like having the flu really, the withdrawals arent that bad,but they are annoying the first 4 or 5 days will be the hardest.im just wanting to let you know that you can do it 3 weeks ago,i thought i was hopeless, worthless and a total disappointment and truthfully a hairs breathe from suicide and that i would need rapid detox or suboxone therapy. but one night i just decided enough is enough and set out to daily test myself how long could i go without using when it got bad,i kept myself busy with just about anything to keep me occupied, what i say is if you just get it into your mind that your not going to take them anymore that thought will take hold and the more you think it like a mantra it will get stronger. it wont be easy but its not a trip to the 10th level of hell like we all think it is. i truly and sincerely hope you can break your addiction.

all you have to do is go to any hospital and tell them you are addicted to pain killers and you need help. they will either help you or tell you where to go to get help...

not always, sometime s you go needing help and they play run around with you until the doctor finally sees you and tells you to go shoot yourself in the parking lot,yes that's happened to me before.and if they dont do that then they treat you like a criminal once they find out that your an addict and then you spend all your time there waiting for nothing.

Maybe go back to the beginning. Figure out why you started. A lot of times addictions are trying to fill a void somewhere. The easiest way to get rid of a void is to go look into it and see what it is about. The answers are there but it can be painful to do. There are things like hypnosis that lets you go directly to the subconscious. But you can also do that yourself by looking at it from a conscious level and then over time it gets clearer to go into the subconscious.

There is nothing shameful about getting help. A few days in detox, inpatient or outpatient treatment. I found in patient treatment more beneficial, but that's me. Believe me I know what you are going through. Been there many times. I do find Jesus to be of great help when I feel I'm going to lose it again. I only wish you the best.

You and i are in the same boat friend,Ive been using for 5 years now,and your right the withdrawals are completely terrifying and i know how it feels feeling like a disappointment to everyone, there is something out there called suboxone,it helps with the with drawl very well, and there are other things,Buprenor phine,Naltrexon e,
i myself am trying to gear up to kick my habit its just really scary,i have found large quantities of chocolate,ie hershey's helps a lot with the cravings but you have to eat like the entire bottle/can and have alot of it on hand to use,but it does help.
i hope you find the strength to kick, good luck
