If you answered yes to either question, we will accept you as a new member. Everyone else can browse the site, but only members can share their secrets or comment on the secrets other members shared.
Unique Membership Benefits
The member who writes the most popular secret of the year will be awarded $108. As our site grows, the cash prize will get larger.
Eventually some of the stories shared here will become books and movies. When agents contact us for the story rights, we will notify you in case you are willing to trade your secret identity for fame and fortune instead. Not bad huh?
It's therapeutic to get things off your chest, that's why one of our founding members created this site. But it's even better to receive comments and communicate anonymously with other interesting people. Think of us as your online therapy session, you can comment, you can send private emails, and you can offload your unique history and finally move forward with your life.
Registering For A Story Peeps Secret Society Membership
1. Register a new account (Use an anonymous name if you wish).
2. Once registered, logon and click on “Share Secrets”
3. Once your secret is submitted, it will be reviewed by the SP Master. If it is approved, it will be published and you will receive an email with a link to your story. (All secrets will follow this approval process.)
What Else Should I Know Before I Apply for the SP Secret Society Membership?
1. Members usually change the names and locations within their secret stories to protect their identity.
2. We do not allow vulgar use of profanity and strong sexual content, because our site is created for a wide audience (see our agenda).
3. You are the owner of your secrets, and you can remove your secrets at anytime.
4. Story Peeps will publish a book of member secrets annually, once we feel that we have enough content to make a remarkable book.
5. We do not accept stories under 250 words or 1/4 of a page. People come here for incredible stories, not blurbs. If you have something short to share, find an already posted secret and post it there as a comment.
6. We post your secrets as soon as they are reviewed. Sometimes it can take a couple of days depending on the backlog. See our support our cause page for more info.
